Founded in 1900, The Sincere Company Limited is one of the Hong Kong’s oldest and most respected retail groups. In early 20th Century, Sincere has become a listed company on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The Group is mainly engaged in the retailing business and consists of four department stores in Hong Kong located at Central, Mong Kok, Sham Shui Po and Tsuen Wan where the Central Store is the flagship with over 63,000 sq ft.
While retailing continues to be the core business of Sincere, the Group has diversified into property investment, property development, securities trading, advertising agency, interior design, furniture manufacturing, and travel agency franchising. Apart from operating in Hong Kong, the business activities extended to cover Taiwan, United Kingdom, Australia, and the Mainland. As at the last reported financial statements, the Group has recorded a shareholder’s equity of around HK$600 million and has over 500 employees.
